Hi there, I’m Mattie.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LISW-CP, 17239) practicing in the Charleston, SC area. I graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Psychology and from Fordham University with a Masters in Clinical Social work, along with a specialization in trauma treatment.
For a decade I have provided therapeutic services to clients as they navigate both crises and life’s day to day challenges. I have extensive experience and training in providing trauma treatment and trauma-informed care. I also have extensive experience helping families navigate mental health and behavioral concerns. I have a personal interest in helping women during the postpartum season and am pursuing a Perinatal Mental Health Certification.
I love to float in a creek, cook, and, mostly, spend time with my husband, two little boys and beagle, Duke.

Virtual Therapy
My goal is to provide an environment for you to heal while growing in insight and resilience. I approach each of my clients with warmth, empathy and authenticity. Therapy sessions are virtual and the purpose of these sessions will vary based on your goals and circumstances. I utilize cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed and person-centered approaches. I like to incorporate faith + spirituality and embodiment, as well. I believe there is always hope.
I currently do not take insurance.
60 minute individual session: $150; 60 minute family session: $165

Postpartum Connect
Life during the postpartum season can feel difficult to explain and complicated to navigate. You are not alone. Join other women who are going through it too as we learn about how motherhood impacts our mental health, and what we can do about it.
Postpartum Connect is a weekly virtual support group for moms of children one year old and under.
